With every new years comes new dreams, new goals and new aspirations – here are a few of mine.
2017 is probably not going to be the most exciting year for me but it is going to be the year of getting my and my boyfriend’s ducks in a row so that 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and all the years to come will be awesome.
A little bit later on in the year, Shane will be moving to Ottawa (Canada’s Capital) to go to school for 2 months. This is HUGE for us because I’m sure it will test out relationship a little bit, it will be fun to explore Ottawa and Shane will hopefully be making more money when he comes home. I am hoping that all out debts will be paid off by the end of this year, and I will be continuing to save for a house. I’m hoping that next year will be the year I can buy said house!
Another huge thing that’s happening this year is that I’m taking Shane on his first trip! In June, we will be heading out on a quick trip to Scotland and Ireland. I really wanted to show him how beautiful Ireland is and also get to go somewhere I’ve never been (Scotland). I’m so excited/nervous about this and will definitely be posting more about it soon!
I guess you can say that one of my new year’s resolutions is to work out and be fit for this trip. I struggled keeping up on my last trip to Ireland so I want to be more in shape for this one so I can enjoy it more.
Here are some of the things from my bucketlist that I plan on crossing off this year:
Go on a trip with my best friend
My boyfriend counts as my best friend right
Look for the Loch Ness Monster in Scotland
Attend an NHL game
With Shane living in Ottawa, I might finally get to cross this off the list.
In 2016, I only crossed one thing off of my bucketlist and it was… Take dancing lessons. I totally forgot I even had that on my list. I started taking belly dancing in September. I had the chance to cross “Be a movie extra” off of my list twice but sadly didn’t do it. Find my full bucket list here. Some I’ve already done though.
Also for 2017, I’m hoping to maybe so to Salem in October because I’ve been thinking about it for 2 years now and I also really want to crack down on saving money and eating out less. And I obviously need to blog more.
